Just found the repeat/loop doesn't work in the system MediaPlayer
my scenario: Soundtrack/FLAC playlist and no matter which play behaviour/option I pick it jumps onto the next track :/

The next track in your playlist? If so I guess it is the expected behaviour, loop is inside the playlist, if you want to loop on the same song than just select it and not the whole playlist.

Heh it should be straight forward but you confused me now.. so let me explain my scenario again
1. Ive bought soundtrack album [FLAC - not sure if this makes any difference] and put it on the shared drive
2. Ive mounted the drive and navigated to the soundtrack album
3. Ive selected the track and set it to repeat
4. once it ends it jumps to the next track - thats not the right behaviour 
Can you check it on your box and let me know if works?.. Im not sure now If Im missing something or is this simply not working any more

update
this seems to not work with audio files only (mp3/FLAC)
movies are repeating just fine
