Hi, if i go to openpli/sumo branch page i see

openembedded-core @ 30b055d        sumo: update openembedded and bitbake.         4 hours ago

But this is not true because if i go for example here i see

m4: Workaround gnulib's fseeko.c implementation

but not present in openpli sumo branch.
Why?
Thanks

Only short as better Erik answers this.
Update don’t necessarily means that it is updated to latest commit.

Ok, strange but... Thanks!

And I’m not quite sure whether github shows it correct as Erik uses rebase. So better we wait until he answers.

The sumo branch is not meant as a "general to use buildable branch". It's a branch that's meant to be merged into the "develop" branch. And as such I rebase it it very frequently on the develop branch (sometimes multiple times in a day). Github can't handle rebases very well and reports lots of new commits which aren't there.

So just as I say to everybody else trying to use the "sumo" branch: don't do it. Wait until it's merged into the develop branch.

I don't read PM -> if you have something to ask or to report, do it in the forum so others can benefit. I don't take freelance jobs.
Ik lees geen PM -> als je iets te vragen of te melden hebt, doe het op het forum, zodat anderen er ook wat aan hebben.
