I would wait until OpenPLi 7.0 is released, it is currently in release-candidate.
We don't have a habbit of releasing images that don't work. I've been using my Zero with the current 7.0-rc without any problems. If you use the autobackup plugin and make a backup to a USB stick, you can restore the backup after you have flashed a new version.
We can't provide drivers for end-of-live versions, they need to be compiled from source, and the RealTek rtl8192eu is an out-of-tree driver (i.e. not natively supported by Linux), adding these to our build process is very complex work.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
