We did it years ago on purpose to move the movieplayer infobar to the top... (think about srt subtitles) Why do you want to get it on the bottom...?

I like the one-way style. No exception to it. This way the movieplayer screen looks exactly like infobar. In fact it is 90% an infobar copy.

Take a closer look to PLi-skin you see diffrence in letter size and outlinings all the way. Using the templates in coding helped a lot, it's time to make the next step (my opion only)

I only try to discuss it what the team thinks... I somehow hate we get two ‘lines’ of skins due to a think like this. Did you also think about the dvb screen?

I am very much in favour of using the same (style) infobar everywhere, but I mentioned that before.

 

I don't see the "subtitle" argument, you have the same with the infobar when watching live tv.

Pli's smokey inforbar perfectly covers subtitles when they are 'burned'. DVB/SRT subtitles are hided anyway when infobar is presented.

 

I've made more changes to PLi skin for my own concern, thats where the userskin is meant for isn't it?

 

In basic I changed:

 

- Blue style to orange style, because i did not like that change.

 

- NumberZab, because i want it to happen in the infobar.

 

- Enigmalight plugin because it did not match Pli skin at all.

 

- Screengrabber, Transmission and SystemTime plugins because they dont match Pli style and they are nor readable on 'small screen' because they are SD style.

If you mean dvd screen, i've changed the player template so dvd should be changed as well, but i don't use it often so i haven't test it.

It's when i play dvd from .iso file?

De dvd skin lijkt nergens op. Ik zie alleen audio en subtitle, bij spoelen komen mijn pijltjes weer terug. 

Maar ik heb geen goede iso, en ik denk dat het ook niks was. 

Daarvoor ga ik eerst het orgineel bekijken, en bedenken hoe het eruit moet zien.

Ik denk niet dat het veel gebruikt wordt, maar het verdient wel wat aandacht.

Omdat de pijlen eigenlijk het enige zijn wat ik zie denk ik eigenlijk meer aan grafische symbolen.

 

De huidige veranderingen zijn i.i.g. niet storend.

 

Dat word het volgende project.

how many people so many tastes. I like movie infobar top and want not it bottom. It is better to know, what is used, imho. Movieplayer is diferent part. If somebody wants modification, he can modify whole movieplayer infobar screen and put it into /etc/enigma2/skin-user_NAMEOFPLUGIN.xml. Then it has priority.

@ims: And that's exactly what I do. But I have problems with some minor skinning parts, ask forum to help me with this, I don't want to change any skin, so what's your problem now?

As a fact I started to assimilate dvd player screen too, there is also I minor problem to it.

When I start chapterzap nothing happens on skin. The chapter zap does happen in fact, but it does not show the ChapterZap screen. I doubt if this screen is called by python, maybe there is a mismatch in the name, I can't see.

When I chapterzap on active infoscreen I see chapter change so something works but not the right routine is called?

 

 

Does anybody knows which screen is called when I chapterzap in dvd player mode?

for chapter window press blue button first. Then put any number and wait 3s or press OK.

OK thats strange. 

 

When I push <right> DVD jump one chapter up, but shows no screen at all.

 

When I push <up> DVD jumps one title up, and shows the DVDPlayer screen

 

My buttons could be a little different because i am using an harmony ab.

 

But something has to be fixed in DVD.py ??
