I am pretty sure I mentioned this before, DTS support is almost always flakey, you can't rely on it. There are two reasons for it:
- DTS is not used by DVB, so it doesn't need to be working for the receiver to be sold as "DVB compliant receiver"
- DTS is costly for the manufacturer in terms of licensing, they rather not support it
The difference in audio quality between DTS and AC3 (aka "Dolby Digital") is at least questionable, so the best way really is to convert the DTS audio into AC3 or, if the media has both DTS and AC3 audio, use the AC3 one.
