Hi all.

 

Since OpenPli 4 to the latest 7rc network streamed radio channels are kind of croaky and stopping time to time. I was always surprised that regular IPTV video channels's audio works fine while IPTV radio's audio is terrible. It's not a matter of specific radio channels. All of them, from different sources work bad. As soon as the radio background comes up the audio degenerates to the point that is unlistenable.

 

Is there a setting that fixes the issue or is something that has to do with OpenPli in general?

Streamed from what source? During the week I stream radio from my living room box to my office box for hours, never without any issue?

Multicast based sources. Work OK with VLC bad with OpenPli. I'm sure there are issues with all other internet radios but right now I cannot find one that works at all.I suspect internet sources are filtered by user agent. Work with VLC though.

How do you insert them in user bouquets?

Show an example.

For example inside userbouquet.vh01.radio I put:

 

#SERVICE 1:0:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:http%3a//ascolta.radiogibson.net%3a80/radiogibson.opus:radio dance

Use 4097 instead of 1. I don't think they are ts streams
