Groen scherm bij starten directe opname

De titel zegt het al.

De uno4k raakte vanochtend in een loop van groene schermen toen de vrouw een programma wilde laten opnemen met de rode toets voor direkte opname.
Enige optie was uitzetten met de knop achterop de box.
Daarna liep ie weer gewoon.
Gister liep de box ook al vast bij t opstarten vd schijf.
Geen groen scherm maar een blijvende spinner.
Zal vanavond de crashlog posten.
Heb dit al es eerder gehad en toen was de schijf NOK.
Deze externe usb schijf is nu net een jaar oud en t zou wel toevallig zijn.

Zolang we niet weten wat er op dat groene scherm stond blijft het gissen. Dus we zullen moeten wachten op die crashlog. ;)

Ook een nadeel van STB's. Heel erg 'error-proof' is die firmware gewoon niet. Geldt overigens voor alle 'Open' images die ik gebruik. Fatsoenlijke time-out routines zijn er niet. Of het nu gaat om het netwerk, netwerk gerelateerde mounts, opslagmedia etc.. De algemene afhandeling is meer: probeer, alloceer geheugen, probeer, alloceer geheugen, probeer ad infinitum. Op een gegeven moment is het geheugen op of klapt er de routine eruit: GSOD.. Is een beetje de aard van het beestje....

Slordig programmeerwerk door zolderkamer hobbyisten. Geen TDD. Geen fatsoenlijke test procedures. Geen vastgelegde architectuur en design. Geen peer-reviews.

 

En ik kan nog wel even doorgaan. ;)  En dat is 15+ jaar geleden bij DMM begonnen, want de kwaliteit is van dag 1 onder de maat geweest.

 

Je kunt dat alleen maar oplossen door opnieuw te beginnen, met een professioneel ingericht team, die op een professionele wijze zijn werk verricht.

 

En ga daar de hobbyisten maar voor vinden, zij die daarvoor kwalificeren zijn veelal oude garde (en dat zie je bij ons ook), die zijn er steeds minder, en de "jeugd" ziet programmeren als 9 tot 5 en zit daar buiten liever te gamen. Dan houdt je de personen over die uitsluitend als hobby programmeren, en daaronder moet je de mensen met een gedegen bagage met een zaklampje zoeken. Dat is overigens ook steeds vaker zo bij de "professionele programmeurs", daar zit ook veel brandhout tussen...

Zolang we niet weten wat er op dat groene scherm stond blijft het gissen. Dus we zullen moeten wachten op die crashlog. ;)

ben m aan het zoeken maar kan m niet vinden.

dacht dat het media/hdd was maar daar staat niks,in de root staat ook niks,ik zoek nog wat verder.

ik zag trouwens dat er 2 opnames liepen welke nu beiden 9x in de opnamelijst staan,dus er moeten ook net zoveel crashlogs zijn

valt me op dat ie bij het booten na een herstart vaak blijft hangen in t bootscherm.
1 of 2x extra de knop uitzetten en dan start ie wel door

Zal een gewone opname zijn welke met de uno is opgenomen.

Maar deze log is dus niet van de uno maar van de xtrend7000 op de slaapkamer.
Die loopt zelden vast.

Kan vd uno geen enkele log terugvinden
