Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Something must play the media, serviceHisilicon is the default player for HiSilicon based boxes. If you remove that, there is nothing left to play non-DVB media.

That is not correct.

 

Serviceapp in itself doesn't do anything, it only allows you to switch service apps. The external player Serviceapp enables is exteplayer3.

 

Both exteplayer3 and servicehisilicon are forks of libeplayer, and use ffmpeg for format conversion, but it is not true that both have the same features.

How did you delete it? And what kind of media do you play? How do you play it?

Es treten nach dem löschen vom Hisiplayer andere Nachteile auf.

Deshalb wäre es richtiger, Zgemma Devs würden ihren Player fixen für YT streams.
