You installed the nfsserver plugin? Did you restart the box after that to make sure the nfs daemon is started?

Double check via menu - info - about - yellow button, the go to the process list, you should see

 1500 rpc 2224 S /usr/sbin/rpcbind
 1507 rpcuser 2828 S /usr/sbin/rpc.statd
 1535 root 2988 S /usr/sbin/rpc.mountd

and quite a few lines with [nfs]...

Menu button, Information, About, gives you the overview page of your box. Press the yellow button (Troubleshoot). Press right (or left) until the title says "Troubleshoot - ps".

Should look like:

Attached File  1_0_1_1DBF_82D_2_11A0000_0_0_0_20190118184113.jpg   126.8KB   5 downloads

You can see the running NFS processes at the top. If not you can scroll up with the up-arrow button.

One of the other screens is called "Troubleshoot - df" which you can use to check if your disk is correctly mounted on /media/hdd.

Are the files in a format that can be played? If you can see the files on your Apple TV, I won't know why they won't play. NFS server in 6.2 is identical to the one in 7.0.

That's what I get crazy, it's really weird, I can see the same file in 6.2 but it's not 7.0

I do not understand anything. Can you see if you don't have the same problem? I have several times gone back to 6.2 and it works but not on 7.0. It's so frustrating and I do everything right

I'm lost.

Now you say you can't see them, and before you said you could? So what is it?

And did you check what I asked you to check, because you haven't said you did. So, is NFS running? And is your disk mounted on /media/hdd?
