I'm lost.

That's what I get crazy, it's really weird, I can see the same file in 6.2 but it's not 7.0

Now you say you can't see them, and before you said you could? So what is it?

And did you check what I asked you to check, because you haven't said you did. So, is NFS running? And is your disk mounted on /media/hdd?

Sorry i mean i coludnt see the file.

And yes i can check NFS running Otherwise how can I see my files. but the problem is that I can't play the files.

How do you edit the config file? With a Unix compatible editor?

Maybe start answering the questions we ask instead of going around in circles?

There are only a few posibilities:

  • You have a network problem.
  • NFS is not running.
  • Your disk is not mounted on /media/hdd.

NFS sharing has nothing to do with codecs. It is your Apple TV that plays the file.

And you don't answer the questions, so I don't know either.

if Apple TV use NFS to access to movie files it has nothing to do with codecs

Or needs Apple TV more that NFS access to play movies?

So please goto the Menu/About than press yellow key and right/left keys until you see the process list. Can you see there a process with nfsd in the name?

If not, than nfs daemon is not running

At the moment I have no idea. I think the apply TV need more than NFS to play the movie. Is it possible?

@betacentauri:
Is there a newer nfs daemon included in openpli 7 than in 6.2 with other security checks which need an other export file? I have no nfs here to check that
