Question: the new VU+ Duo 4K with OpenPLI 7 has a DVB-S2X tuner. Some other VU+ receivers have possibility to use Multistream channels which broadcasting MIS or PLS modus, and it works.
My question is if the VU+ Duo 4K with OpenPLI 7 works with MIS/PLS Multistream and if not, will this be soon the case and when?:
Does anyone have experience with this?
(or is it better to search to another receiver?)

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

DVB-C FBC is as far as i know already available. DVB-T2 not yet but was announced earlier for january, we will see then.

DVB-C FBC what is the point, does it work? I tested it and I cannot record more than 2 channels at once... What is the deal here, I am missing something?
For DVBS you need unicable LNB, but here there are no LNBs involved.

Yes apparently you are missing something. No problems here with recording tons of services / channels at the same time from C. I think you're using a CI module or a softcam that is limited.
The FBC S2x tuners support exactly that: S2x. No multistream or physical layer scrambling (yet, at least).
* Wavefrontier T90 with 28E/23E/19E/13E via SCR switches 2 x 2 x 6 user bands
I don't read PM -> if you have something to ask or to report, do it in the forum so others can benefit. I don't take freelance jobs.

I tested on dvbc fta channels! On 3rd channel i get black screen. I do have also scrambled channels for which I use oscam and conax smartcard.Yes apparently you are missing something. I have 8 dvbc tuners (BCM3148) but nowhere is mentioned FBC, unlike dvbs2x where FBC is mentioned.
Any suggestion?

The 3148 is indeed not mentioned as being FBC. But believe me, it is. Maybe they intentionally left out the "FBC" part because it does not have the limitations found in an S FBC tuner (due to its limited amount of independent inputs).
Here proof that it works. Four channels in QuadPiP, all on different tuners. See the ABCD in the lower left corner on the display.
Maybe you have a defective tuner card?

I checked and I get signal only on first two "virtual" tuners. On all others there is no signal. Defective tuner?

That's what's my conclusion, it seems you're the only one with this issue. Did you also have the FBC C tuner in the first slot? For the Ultimo4k it matters what slot you use, who knows it also matters for the Duo4k.

So indeed it's the same as the Ultimo4k. And also apparently the new V2 FBC C don't have this limitation.

Dvbc tuner is in B slot. Dvbs2x was preinstalled in slot near hdmi connector. I dont know which type I got because it is not written on the carton box. There is only SN.
