On my Duo2 and my Solo the videotext is not wirking anymore after upgrading to pli 7. Can anyone help me?

On my solo2, teletext ist o.k. too.
Under OpenPLi 7.0
current active Boxes:
Zgemma H7S, Vuuno4kse, Vuduo4kse & Octagon SF8008 @ Astra 19,2° & Hotbird 13°

on both vu+ there is no Teletext available. Nothing happens if i push the teletext button. I installed the actual version by using the flash function in the menu. Is there a plugin for teletext or is it a basic thing in pli?Gesendet von meinem SM-T813 mit Tapatalk

What is the relation between usb-utils and tuxtxt?
It works here on all boxes BTW, no problem, opens direct.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

The network mounts doesnt work also. I cannot connect from my solo to my duo2.

Some details after reflashing. First teletext is working. Network mounts doesnt work. After some tries to connect the duo2, teletext isnt working anymore. Now i`m going back to 6.2 and i`ll wait for another version. Hope you`ll find the bug.

Maybe
[ -e /proc/sys/kernel/hotplug ] && echo -e '\000' >/proc/sys/kernel/hotplug
But this fact is 100%.

As a test, I have installed usbutils, and indeed, automounts no longer work, and no teletext.
edit: if I remove it again, with
opkg remove usbutils
and restart the box, the problem remains.
So what does this package trigger?

Ah, the problem isn't usbutils, the problem is it installed udev as a depdendency. So you need to do:
opkg remove eudev

No, that is not needed.
By default, both usbutils and eudev are not installed in the image.
The problem I think is that when you restore your backup after a flash, it re-installs usbutils (because you had it installed before?), that installs eudev, and that breaks it.
So, if you don't need usbutils, simply remove it:
opkg remove usbutils opkg remove eudev
and that will in turn make sure it will be removed from the autoinstall file at your next backup.
If you do need usbutils, you can't remove eudev, but you can disable it:
rm /etc/rcS.d/S04udev
this makes sure udev doesn't start. Restart the box and everything should work again.
Problem with this is that after you flash the box again, you have to remember you need to remove this file again.
