Does it also crash if not streaming?

I don't realy know because it streams all the time (my friend is watching TV). 1 stream all the time, second stream in the evening. Until now it still didn't hang so i'm still waiting.

I also made a RJ12 to USB adapter FTD1232 and tried with putty (115200 8 N 1), but i only get garbage in output, don't realy know what could be wrong.

Try 9600 8N1.

You very well may be hitting a driver bug there. That's why I recommend testing it without streaming for some time.

9600 8N1 is the same, but with much less lines in output. Possibly, i will wait untill the crash and then maybe we will try it without streaming if logs won't show anything.

Well the Vu+ didn't hang until today, when we had power outage and also we are corrently experiencing some problems with our operator, so the internet and DVB-C are down every few minutes. After the power came back VU+ vorked for a few minutes, then OpenWebif and streaming  stopped working, but i could stil watch TV normaly if i turned it on. I'm attaching that logs:

Dmesg

and here is the log before power outage

I'm creating a now log now again, if anything woild happen.

You said you were streaming, but the log suggests you are transcoding. Transcoding is notoriously unstable.

I realy wouldn't know about that. All video request's go to port 8001, also the playlist itself is just taken from OpenWebif as complete playlist, so it should not be transcoding playlist. Which entry in log shows that? Untill now i'm still waitnig, that it hangs again. 1/4 of the log until now (too big for pastebin):

Ok, it hanged again. This time SSH works, OpenWebif is dead, Oscam web interface is responding normaly. The device cannot be turned on by remote, no response on button press.

I don’t see a driver crash or similar.
For me it’s a hardware problem.

Well, that's not realy good news, since it's happening almost from when it was new.

I'm now running Gstreamer debugging and afterwards i will try with mounting a fan on the CPU cooler. And that is probably all that can be tried.

Any sugestions which devices have DVB-C FBC tuner to buy it instead of VU+? Or VU+ is actualy good and i'm just out of luck?

Gstreamer is not involved in DVB streaming (despite it's name) and gstreamer will also not crash the receiver.

Well, it's probably realy something with the hardware. I have one last log to check (only last part of it) if anyone find's anything suspicius.

Thank you for all help.

I'm probably gonna go with DUO 4K in the future because of the FBC tuner. I hope it's built a bit better.

The duo4k isn't that mature yet. If you're going to stability, I'd suggest using Uno4kSE or Ultimo4k.

You mean firmware mature or hardware mature? I was hoping for something with dual tuner since i would also use DVB-T next to DVB-C FBC or maybe dual DVB-C FBC.

Ultimo 4k is way over my budget limitation :)

Nothing in the logs i presume. I the meantime i will try with Mutant HD530C and then when there will be possibilities i will probably buy Duo 4K and hope for the best.

Firmware mature.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
