The manufacturer will need to supply this feature in their drivers.

It seems when the box is in standby and you stream a service (e.g. via openwebif) the hdmi-cec wakes up the tv when cec is enabled and gives you audio without video....

No, the point is that when you're streaming, no decoders nor HDMI nor HDMI CEC should be active.

the bug is not when streaming just by zapping from the OpenWebif with the box is in standby.

https://forums.openp...en-in-stand-by/

The guys who report it to me was not streaming he just zap from OpenWebif with the box in standby. But then you interpret it as streaming and this is not the case.

As far I can see this should solve it and as far I tried I could not find side-effects....

Problem is that we want to be able to zap when the box is in standby, I guess this patch prevent it.

Moreover this bug is very specific to Zgemma H9, I don't think that it happens on other brand, so why patch it in OpenPLi?

It is Zgemma that needs to fix there drivers.

Why should you zap a service when the box is in standby... I think this was a bug which was in there from the beginning.... and that is why I think it is a good idea! And I understand it looks scary..when you zap from openwebif in standby nothing can be seen... ! It does not block streaming as that does not get ‘over’ navigation.py

It is not a real driver box... in standby e2 should not start to play a service! Play a service could wake up stuff....

Does that zap/play service in standby? Brrrr... so epg refresh Will also wakeup the tv here?
Usually it makes no sense playing a service in standby...

Remote timer for owif should not be involved... but epg refresh when ot plays service in standby can do it... but usually when in standby the tuners should be dead to save
Power... at least we could consider to add a prameter here when we should ignore this check as usually the zap in standby makes no sense... (except for epg refresh???)
