The manufacturer will need to supply this feature in their drivers.

No, the point is that when you're streaming, no decoders nor HDMI nor HDMI CEC should be active.

the bug is not when streaming just by zapping from the OpenWebif with the box is in standby.

The guys who report it to me was not streaming he just zap from OpenWebif with the box in standby. But then you interpret it as streaming and this is not the case.

Problem is that we want to be able to zap when the box is in standby, I guess this patch prevent it.
Moreover this bug is very specific to Zgemma H9, I don't think that it happens on other brand, so why patch it in OpenPLi?
It is Zgemma that needs to fix there drivers.

Why should you zap a service when the box is in standby... I think this was a bug which was in there from the beginning....
Not all, what you not using, is bug ...
Btw - zgemma will change driver after Chinese new year "so that it works like a Broadcom based boxes.."

Usually it makes no sense playing a service in standby...

Power... at least we could consider to add a prameter here when we should ignore this check as usually the zap in standby makes no sense... (except for epg refresh???)
