From the image builder's point of view, the drivers from xtrend have never been a problem.
For the 9x00 series, the new media handling driver does some things wrong.
However, it seems that the other xtrend drivers do not have these errors. So it is obvious that it has something to do with the kernel.
Probably something has been forgotten to patch the kernel for the 9x00.
That was surely not wanted.
I think the construction with the current driver is completely fine. So everyone can continue to use their box, even with a defective Sec board.
If you are sure that this is still intact, you should replace the driver locally.
Who knows if someone does not find the right idea to solve the problem?
