Hello Everyone

Hope you are doing well :D.

currently i have  VU+ DUO2  running openpli 7.0 with 2 tuners as below :

* A-B  "dual dvb-s2 tuner"

* C-D "Single dvb-s2 tuner"

my question is about the single DVB-S2 tuner :

LNB IN : is connected to Diseqc switch  for NileSat 7W (Port A) and Badr 26E (PortB)

LNB out:  is connected to another E2 receiver

so Would you please help me to configure the tuner for Diseqc "ports" as below :

(Port A) ===== NileSat 7W and Eutelsat 8W (2 satellites , almost same position )

(Port B) ===== Badr 26E and  Eutelsat 25B (25.5°E)  (2 satellites , almost same position )

i have tried , but only single satellite entry can be done so i am not sure how to identify 2 satellites for the same port

one more thing , i couldn't find the Eutelsat 25B in the list of satellites , do you know how this satellite can be added ?

thanks in advance,

Wish you Nice night :D

Eutelsat 25 was renamed to Es'hail

You have to do an advanced configuration.

Configure 7 West   Attached File  7W.jpg   93.2KB   1 downloads     and save.

Then configure 8 West, and set LNB=1, like 7 West.

Configure 26 East,    Attached File  26E.jpg   90.7KB   1 downloads    and save.

Then configure 25.5 East and set LNB=2, like 26 East.

I don't know if your disecq is 1.0 or toneburst. Change if needed.

i have tried to follow , but i am still not able to to find either Eutelsat 25 nor Es'hail in the list of available satellites.

do you know how can i add it? is it something related to satellites.xml because i cannot find it there? if yes is there  a way to get an updated version?

thanks once again

Second tuner, single, is C-D?

* Wavefrontier T90 with 28E/23E/19E/13E via SCR switches 2 x 2 x 6 user bands
I don't read PM -> if you have something to ask or to report, do it in the forum so others can benefit. I don't take freelance jobs.
Ik lees geen PM -> als je iets te vragen of te melden hebt, doe het op het forum, zodat anderen er ook wat aan hebben.

@Erik

The single tuner is ==== >  Tuner C Vuplus DVB-S NIM(AVL6211) (DVB-S2)

the dual tuner :

Tuner A     Vuplus DVB-S NIM(AVL6222) (DVB-S2)
Tuner B     Vuplus DVB-S NIM(AVL6222) (DVB-S2)

@jpuigs :

when using the tuner LNB out  to another E2 receiver :  should the Diseqc configuration be done on both receivers?

thanks again for your help

????  Yes.

If you want to be able to receive on 2nd. receiver the same you receive in the first receiver., you have to configure it in the same way, otherwise you won't get everything.
