We think it is important to have a PLi® image twice a year available in summer and winter.

Therefore, we have decided to make a steady Release Candidate public.
As it is a steady Release Candidate, you might run into some unknown bugs.

Please report any issues or bugs on our forum, so we can fix it before the final release of Jade.



Highlights:

Enigma1:

- Build non-LCD boxes without DISABLE_LCD, so binary plugins will work

Network Mounts Fixes:
- If a network mount is edited in the web interface, it's automatically unmounted
- Use udhcpc config/deconfig script
* This solves the problem samba fails to start in case the DHCP assigns another hostname


Network Mounts Features:
- Complete redesigned network mount screen
- DM7000 allows NFS V3 mounts too
- Support for NAS devices which cannot handle cifs Linux extensions
- /VAR can be easily moved to a network mount


Web Interface Fixes:

- PDA webif improvements by Jonc

Waarom is deze niet in de online update te vinden? Wat is daar de rede van?

er zijn wat problemen met de online update
gewoon ff downloaden en flashen dus

En als je dan met de root.cramfs methode flasht dan gaat dit (bijna) even soepel als de online update. :wink:

hoe krijg ik dan weer de miount voor elkaar met deze versie ik gebruik dus smbs en geeft ieder niet gemount aan terwiijl hij dat wel goed deed nmet de iolite en alle versies daarvoor van het afgelopen jaren.

Ik ga hem weer online updaten... Thanx voor de fix. Werkt dit ook voor de DM800 nu?

nee de 800 zal je handmatig moeten flashen

Ik denk ik pak Jade even mee in de hoop dat DreamDVD het eindelijk doet
/var/tuxbox/plugins/dreamdvd.so: undefined symbol: _ZN7Decoder5flushEV

Iemand een idee wat dit kan zijn? Ik las een stuk over een oudere versie van Enigma maar dat in de nieuwe Jade ?
Veder goed werk ziet er allemaal weer super strak uit en loopt als een speer op me DM700, morgen mijn DM600 voorzien...

De reden is dat in CVS (dus waar alle images op gebaseerd zijn) dit veranderd is. PLi Jade is een redelijk nieuwe image dus die heeft daar nu last van. Als bijvoorbeeld Gemini met een nieuwe komt dan zullen zij hetzelfde probleem krijgen en zal er ook wel een nieuwe plugin komen.

Nou ja wat zal ik zeggen, probleem heeft zichzelf al opgelost. Als ik een map aanmaak en daar weer een map inzet met VIDEO_TS, staat er gelijk bij start player. Plaats ik dan alle benodigde bestanden in dan speelt de dvd vlekkeloos af. Al met al mag mijn vriendin niet meer zeuren, het word een echte MCE vervanger

Net de online update geprobeerd. Box startte echter gewoon weer op met Iolite i.p.v. Jade. Iemand dit ook meegemaakt?

ik adviseer altijd om voor en na het flashen de fabrieksinstellingen terug te zetten
zodoende heb je het meeste geheugen vrij met flashen om vastlopers tre voorkomen en blijven er geen oude instellingen bewaard die voor problemen kunnen zorgen
