Hi,

It’s possible to retrieve current service scrambling status from linux console? We want detect cam module problems and restart it based on scrambling status.

Thanks

Softcams make files (at are also used to display info in the skin), if you're using a CI module, there is no indication. You could write something to check the scrabled bit, but even that is not reliable.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

With dvbsnoop we are near goal.

For example dvbsnoop  -n 100 -s ts  pid_number | grep scrambled

Strange when ci module is unpluged scrabled is catched but when we remove only card, dvbsnoop do not say that stream is scramled :)

Someone know how to check service scramble status?

Hence my remark that it is not reliable.
