Do you have an over view over what channels have what source?

I find that some channels have more detailed EPG on Altibox and some on VG and some on other places.

Also some channels do not have the current name in some tvguides. But this I will se since I have access to these channels. :)

I would like to have relevant info for films. Actors , category and so on.

Also Episode/Season on series.

I see this is missing for some channels.

If you can provide such overview, I could look it all up and not bother you with one channel here and two channels there. ;)

The lace where each channel is taken from is listed in the attached file.

I appreciate that you want to help to improve the EPG.

I know my way around xml-files. Have been responsible for skinmaking on Peter Pan image. :)

I see in the file it contains info for both 0.8W (Canal Digital) and 4.8E (Viasat). I only have 0.8W

But many channels on 0.8 and 4.8 are the same.

I see some channels that do not exist anymore.

Example:

    <display-name lang="nb">TV2 Humor</display-name>

If I do like this:

#

    <display-name lang="nb">TV2 Humor</display-name>

I figure you will understand it is to be removed.

If I find that EPG is better from another source.

    <display-name lang="nb">NRK1</display-name>

    <display-name lang="nb">NRK1</display-name>

I could do like this.
#

Does this seem OK?

I see there are also some Icelandic channels in this list

Of this I know nothing, so I will leave it as is.

Another thing.

I figure you are using OpenPLI.

In Peter Pan I have a issue with extended description in InfoBar and recorded shows.

Extended description for now and next is allways overwritten with transponder EPG in InfoBar. Also recorded shows is allways showing extended description from transponder.

If I am in ChannelSelction I will see EPG from EPG Importer.

Is this the same in OpenPLI?

Could be I am using wrong widgets, renderers and converters. But it seems to me they are the same as in ChannelSelection. So it could be a programming issue.

How you propose it it is OK.

As far as I know, on OpenPLi, if you disable EIT, MHW and Now/Next the EPG that is used is the imported one.

If however you leave EIT or Now/Next on then this EPG from the transponder will overwrite the imported EPG.

Thanks.

I dont have option to disable such things. But maybe I can hack it by write-protect ome files.

I found Canal Digital only have EPG from its app

https://play.google....canaldigital.go Android

https://apps.apple.c...tal/id914487438 Apple

Are you able to grab from an app?
Then you will find EGP for ALL channels on 0.8W

If not

You can grab from https://tv.nrk.no/guide

I cannot grab from an app. Only if an URL can be found (or the needed api call) then I can grab from it.

Is there for these apps no browser equivalent?

Sadly it is not a browser equivalent. :)

They say TVGuide is currently unavailable and reccomend to download the app

But is https://tv.nrk.no/guide possible?

Would be nice to be sure you can grab from a xource before I start editing :)

I probably can write a grabber for NRK. But it is only 5 channels.

The page to grab is: https://psapi.nrk.no...date=2020-07-22

(The api call)This looks promising.

PS: I can add the regional variations as well: https://psapi.nrk.no...date=2020-07-22

Great. :)

I then know enough to start check sources.

I figure it would not be a problem if I rearrange this list.

Makes it easier for me when I work myeself trough it.

I guess it will take me some days to get it done

I do not know what to wish for here.

But I see much more accurate EPG here. It contains category, wich is in norwgian. :)

But I did find a channel with only now/next

Rikstoto Direkte HD 1:0:19:5E7:47:46:E080000:0:0:0

I recieve this channel, but it is not in my subscription, So I cant verify EPG

Tried to edit last post, but it was not possible, probably to long time.

I cannot find a source for Rikstoto.

But this is a pretty narrow channel. It only shows horse racing, tips and so on.

Another thing.

Can you grab from here?

https://www.tv2.no/tvguide/

I found it to be very good for some channels.

If you can grab from https://www.tv2.no I am done with the list.

I have used # text to explain what I have done, what to delete and so on.

I think I may have been very clear. :D

Also. Altough there are quite a few identical channels on 0.8W (Canal Digital) and 4.8E (Viasat) I guess servicereferences could be different among channels.

Since I only recieve 0.8W I am unable to check it.

I could see in my home forum, Peter Pan forum if there are any there that can check references and if there are any channels on 4.8E that is not on 0.8W

There is a time issue on ALL channels using Altibox

It seem EPG is showing schedules 2 hours in future.
