using openpli 6.1 would you advise      (   using VU Zero  )

 

update to latest pli  7.0   is it best to do a full flash using usb or  flash from flash image from the box ?

Doesn't matter, the principle is the same. The only difference is that from the menu it downloads and unpacks it for you, so you don't have to do that yourself. In both cases you need a USB stick to store it on.


Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

....and if I might add, a flash from the menu (GUI), asks the user if he wants a backup and so this enables the option to restore after the flash, which saves a lot of work.
