What is the oscam route, I'll have a look if the bouquet is in the oscam.dvbapi file. How to set the I(gnore) flag also?
Does the work even when bouquets are re imported
Thanks

There is nothing more simple than adding a bouquet into parental control.

First enable the parental control with a PIN Code in OpenPLi

Once you are watching TV, press the up arrow to display the channel list, press blue to display the favorite list.

Use to arrow to highlight the favorite that you want to add to parental control (don't enter in it!) just select it.

Press the Menu button there select:  Add favorite to parental protection

You can leave with exit.

That's done, you will have to enter your PIN Code to enter into this favorite.

That's easy for an entire Bouquet. But what for separate Channels per Bouquet? I find the oscam.dvbapi much more conveniant especially when the channel exists in multiple bouquets.

You do exactly the same but on the channel you want to protect. Simply use menu and add to parental control.

Parental Control is working really fine, I use it since many years and I had really no problem with it.

When you block a bouquet all the channels in it are automatically blocked everywhere so you can place them into several bouquets and you will be prompted for the PIN code.

About your solution with OScam this is not a good solution because provider (especially the one with porn channels) are often changing of transponders and then change the service reference and then when someone reuse this reference you will block a legitime channel.

Handling it with Parental Control is much more easy and user friendly, trust me.

I have enabled parental control. But when i try to add bouquet to it i don't get option to add to parental control. I would add pictures but think you can't on this forum.

You need first to enable parental control in the OpenPLi menu define a PIN Code then you will be able to enable parental control on channels and bouquets.

You didn't see the option because you didn't enable the Parental Control.

I managed to sus it out. When you set pin you have to change it from the default 0000 code. If you done it wont work.

Yes indeed the goal is not to have 0000 as pin code.  :D

When your provider(s) do change services every day?

Sounds a settings editor is involved here?

Usually the parental controlled is arranged in a blacklist file. Ensure that that file is not overwritten....!!!!

What are you doing exactly, if the name of your bouquet change daily of course that the parental control is dropped everyday.

Insert a bouquet into parental control and check the content of:  /etc/enigma2/blacklist

If you are manually changing the bouquet you need to perform it properly.

Keep the same name for your userbouquet.XXXX.tv file and Parental Control will do the rest.

I have added the bouquet name in the blacklist file, see if that works

Did you stop enigma first before creating the blacklist file? (telnet init 4). Restart with init 3
