PS. Please also note that you need to create hotkey for graphic multi EPG, to be able to reach it.

You don't have to, only if you use it. ;)

The remote has a serious lack of keys, after some tries I settled on mapping it to the "Audio" button. Easy to reach with the thumb, and the Audio function isn't much used here, and also available under the Yellow key.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

I took the "TV" button. It is unused and in a corner (easy to find). The EPG button I have to Single EPG, because that is also working in the channel table (which I want it to be).

PS. Audio button can be useful sometimes, for its original functionality (however, personal and depending on the used services).

Long keypresses suck, which is why I don't have it under long EPG. ;)

Especially with the VU+ remote, which very easily switches from long press to repeat key, with all sorts of misery as a result...

When long and repeat do not work properly you have to change Some remote control parameters...

I didn't say they didn't work.

I said that when I press a key and keep it down, depending on how I point the remote where, it is either seen as a long press, as a repeated key press, or it switches from one to the other.

It is very unreliable, and therefore a pain.

kwax: Please wait for 7.1. I first tested 7.0 and really bad. I have built from develop (for some weeks ago) and it is possible to use. Note this apply for Duo 4K.

PS. Please also note that you need to create hotkey for graphic multi EPG, to be able to reach it. I also recommend epgsearch, if you want it. Please watch out for the audio settings, it exist on per-channel and global. I guess you have some channels with AAC-HE and AC3.

Thanks for your help -M- ! Yes, installing epgsearch and assigning a key to GMEPG is one of the first things I do when installing an openPli image.  :)

Actually, all my Vu+ remotes are all still in their boxes.  :) I can recommend the Logitech Harmony 665 and 650 remotes to you. I have been using them for many years. They are not too expensive and great for vu+ boxes (and the surrounding equipment). Totally different experience compared to the original vu+ remotes.

Agree, long keypress is not an option for frequently used GMEPG!

Nothing wrong with OpenPLi. It finds T2 channels here in the UK without issues.

You have "System" set to either "DVB-T2" or "auto", and NOT to "DVB-T" (as that scans T only, and not T2!)?

It might be a Duo4K thing, in which case I can only say that 7.1-rc contains the latest published drivers.

My answer still applies.

7.1-rc is a direct copy of our develop branch, so it contains the latest OpenPLi codebase, and the latest drivers. We can't do more.

If you still have the problem, your observation that it was fixed in develop was wrong.

So why does it not find your DVB-T2 channels, but it finds all of mine?

Do you have a pointer to the specs of these T2 transponders?

Compare the terrestrial.xml file between OpenPLi and the images reported to work properly.

The only relevant test is to perform a manual scan setting all the the right parameters for the frequency that use DVB-T2 in OpenPLi and check if it can get the channels or not.

If it is a pure autoscan problem then the terrestrial.xml needs some update.
