I have two questions:

1) On gigablue ue 4k in infobar there is no name of camd

2) On channel info is possible make event info text runnung ?

Out of testing purposes I have installed this skin but unfortunately I noticed that zapping between (FTA) is slower then with the default PLi-HD skin. I installed it on a HD60.
Did anyone else notice this behavior too?

Could be a converter or renderer not optimized

Its overall a bit slow whilest zapping/scrolling true the channellist as well. Looks indeed as renderer or converter. But still a nice skin..

Better a skin has no custom renderers or converters and when they want something ‘special’ try to add it in the ‘basic’ image... (then also orther skins can use the same gatgets)....

Everyone says that the skin is slow, and in particular Littlesat says that the Renderers and Converters I use are old and make the skin slow, I have decided and made the skin to work only with OpenPLi's image Renderers and Converters. I do not think that only this is the reason the skin is slower, but I think it depends also on the size of the pictures that are being used. The original skin of OpenPLi does not use large-size pictures, but uses eLabels.

Here it is the skin that uses only OpenPLi's renders and converters:

I did not check the size of the pictures... but did you fill optimize the pngs?

The pictures in the skins are 32 bits RGB.If i make them 8 bits or indexed the quality is reduced.

Our standard skin are pngs are indexed....

Have to come back @ thefact that i stated it was slow. Seems that the problem was the remote. I used the Harmony Universal Hub.

Using the original remote of the Zgemma it works like a charm

We will not go back to E1.

32 bit HI color does not slow down noticeably 4k images.

We go ahead and not back in time.

 

For the rest I have the same opinion

Skinner should be oriented to the skin coding and not to python addition ,

 

Which often cause problems in the images.

Sorry we cannot use this skin as there is code inside we're not allowed to use... It regarding the Weather stuff which is Dream Multimedia only...
