Hello Guys,

I've a quite stupid question. I've a Maxdigital XP1000 stb running under OpenPLI 6.2 and my remote control is damaged.

I'm wondering if I can replace this remote control by another stb brand, let say a VU+ IR-300 remote control used on VU+ ZERO 4K.

Is there a way to do this replacing a file to allow this trick?

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Or purchased a logitech Harmony RCU that you can program over the Internet and your problem will be fixed once for all even if you change your STB brand.

See if your stb model supporting more RC (there in input devices).  But better will be buy new box - it will be faster, with HEVC support and with RC :)
