Does anyone know which file contains timeshift configuration settings? I want to see if i can make some modifications in order get timeshift's recordings on other than default movie folder/device. Thanks.

Quick additional question - do you know of a way to continuously route the TS received from a tuner through the HDD? Currently when I timeshift there is a noticeable delay before the timeshift starts - even more of a delay if the HDD is spun down. There is generally 4-5 seconds of blanked video with the odd audio pop and whistle before video pauses. Is there a way to make entry into timeshift quicker and smoother?

Hi,
Is there any way to separate the two kinds of files?
So that timeshift goes into one place and all the other recordings will go somewhere else.

Looking at the config file the only option is to change
s:/pli/mediaMapping/movies=/media/hdd/movie
but this will change where the normal recordings will go as well.

thanks for your help.
Regards
nut

In the next Enigma1 images there will be a separate location for timeshifts and recording.
So, you just have to wait a little time ;)
