Reaaly a very difficult and complicated process to get EPG for IPTV channels.

Is it the right thread to discuss this knowing that doglover wrote a tutorial to explain how to do it?

Just look at the pinned message 2 are related to IPTV.

Reaaly a very difficult and complicated process to get EPG for IPTV channels.

 

 

It is not difficult.  Just a bit of work to do it properly.

And if you do not understand the basics, it can be difficult.

 

Therefore, try with 1 or 2 channels until you understand it. 

Once you understand the steps involved, you will also understand why automating this, is very very difficult.

Especially for "providers" which do no give their channels unique service refs.
