I have one more question.

Tell me, please, how can I paste the Lcd4linux plugin to the virtual keyboard?

Hello,

I have just tried upgrading my HD51 from 6.2 (I think) to 7.1, using FlashImage utility in the menu.

Unfortunately, something must be going wrong because for the last hour the screen has stayed like this.

Is there a way to re-flash now without losing all my settings and bouquets?

Attached Files

HD51, OpenPLi 6.2, 75E - 30W

Known issue with the HD51.

There is a bug in the elfpatch tool that is used in the BSP to patch the library name of the v3ddriver, so the file that ends up in the image is corrupt. No clue what to do about it, and Erik is on holiday.

Assuming you have made a backup, then you haven't lost anything. For now, flash 7.0.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Yup, as the broken driver prevents the box from booting.

If you don’t have a backup, try to access the box after reboot with ftp, samba.
Then you can at least save /etc/enigma2 folder with settings and bouquets.

Thanks. I was not aware of the fact that I can still connect with FTP or webinterface but I can! :)

I can even see some files in media/hdd/backup. I trust they can be used to restore all my settings.

If you can get in with ftp, it's better to download this file: https://forums.openp...1/#entry1083373, unpack it, and copy it to /usr/lib, overwriting the broken libv3ddriver.so that is already there.

After this, the box should boot properly again.

The same errors appear on Zgemma H7S but the box works fine.

By the way, yesterday I also updated another HD51 from 7.0 to 7.1 using online feed (not through FlashImage) and there was no error. It booted just fine.

So is the issue only related to 6->7.1 and not to 7.0-7.1?

I have no idea, I don't own either a HD51 or an H7.

Afaik the library issue shouldn't prevent the box from booting, the v3d driver provides OpenGL support, which we don't use in Enigma. But appearently some users have issues...

my satellite device duo4k,
I love openpli software.
but;
After installing the software and after the additions I made by myself with backupsuite plug-in and automatic full backup plug-in I think I'm getting backup, but the device does not open again?
what would be the reason?
In addition, openpli software, such as some software can not add a fixed tools panel to manage these jobs?

VU Ultimo 4k.

Since the last software update, it is taking a very long time to search if there is an update or not.

Before I look deeper, is anyone having this issue?

I’ve been informed that the DNS of the download has been changed what might cause some temporarely delay.

Is there a fix for diseqc ABCD ?

The first level of diseqc for the A and B dish works fine, but it doesn't work with the second level with an another dish.C or D on VU+ DUO 4K.

It works fine on an old VU+ Uno.

Regards

What do you mean with "Second level"?

I have 3 LNB's on a 4-1 switch connected to a Duo 4K in ABCD setup, and it works fine?

I use one parabole with a monobloc double dish diseqc and another parabole with a simple dish. The two parabole ouput cables are connected to a switch with 2 inputs and the output of this switch goes to a tuner DVB-S2X.

The switch :

https://www.2galli.f...62IW_OPTION.cfm

Port A and B for the double dish are ok. For the simple dish i try port C or port D but it doesn't work.

It is working on my old Vu+ UNO.

I just timed a search to see if there is an update available and it took around 15 minutes.

There is something weird going on.

When I try to download a file from the mirrors with a wget my PC, all downloads are immediate and fast. When I do the same on a box in the same LAN, download2 hangs on "connect...", download1 responds immediately.

Afaik nothing has been changed to download2 in ages, the DNS changes were related to download1, and I see plenty of downloads in the download2 logs...
