I have learned that the Norwegian sub disappears from Discovery every time I make an online update! I have to press 2 x yellow and OK to re-activate it after every update.

I can't test as I have no subscryption on this specific channel. The FTA channels work fine.

Do you have a valid subscryption on this channel?

If I had all the knowledge I had no questions at all.

But unfortunately this means that we cannot test. Perhaps if you provide a Enigma log we might see what goes wrong with that channel.

Hi Team, setting up 7.1 dated 20190916 with a brand new VuDuo4K gives a reduced cropped video image in the top left corner, about 1/9 of the screen dimension, right after you open any menu, and it does not come back to normal. Is this something known of? Any workaround available :)

Cheers

Cheers, found the trick, 2160p30 creates the issue, 2160 is OK.

Resolution problem. Get back to 1080P if you don’t have a 4K tv
If you have a 4K tv the resolution must be 2160P

New challenge found, the Duo4K with 1xFBC S2X dual (B tuner) and 1xT2 dual (A tuner), after setting up the tuners as with the vuplus original image, picks up no sat channels, i.e. comes up with the classic channel not found error, check tuner configuration, and the lists become greyed out upon the first attempt to tune any channel. The search menu shows signal, a search does find channels, however none is opened. This happens with both the integrated settings list proposed, or a full Vhannibal motor + DTT list. Attempting to re-flash the original image, backing up, and restoring the settings, also did not work. DTT looks OK. I have noticed OpenPLI uses the following:

config.Nims.0.terrestrial=Italia (Europe DVB-T/T2)
config.Nims.1.terrestrial=Italia (Europe DVB-T/T2)
config.Nims.2.diseqcMode=positioner
config.Nims.8.latitude=xx.xxx
config.Nims.8.longitude=yy.yyy
config.Nims.8.powerMeasurement=false
config.Nims.9.diseqcA=130
config.Nims.9.diseqcMode=single
...while the original image uses other indexes:
config.Nims.1.terrestrial=2
config.Nims.0.terrestrial=2
config.Nims.3.diseqcA=130
config.Nims.3.diseqcMode=single
config.Nims.3.configMode=simple
config.Nims.2.latitude=xx.xxx
config.Nims.2.diseqcMode=positioner
config.Nims.2.powerMeasurement=false
config.Nims.2.longitude=yy.yyy
config.Nims.2.configMode=simple

I have flashed a few times now to attempt various ideas, with no luck. Any clue how to deal with this ?

p.s. apologies for the unedited post, didn't figure :)

This does not work and it is very logical why!!! Swap the tuners... put DVB-S2X FBC tuner in first slot and put the DVB-T2/C dual tuner with FBC connector in second slot.

Wow, hours and it was this - thank you so much  :)

I would of never have thought about this as the original image was working just fine with the previous setup!

Cheers

Vti or official vu’s image can work-a-round specific vu stuff... we need to be compatible with other boxes as well.
