And your question is?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

He wants OpenPLi image for his box.
But we won’t build an image for that box until the manufacturer requests it.

The BOX use the same bord like many other android box (Mecool K1, wetek play,...) and the same DVB (AVL6211).

I tried another linux distro (Baed on Kodi) using DTB that was made by #afl from coreelec team (gxbb_p200_sen5_1G).

Doesn't really matter, the above still applies.

We require the manufacturer to deliver and support the BSP. Given the fact that Wetek didn't even manage to make a working BSP for OpenPLi 6, I doubt that will ever happen.

No, I mean we won't even try.

We demand manufacturer support. If the manufacturer can't even create a BSP, how are they going to provide support for it?

No, it is about what if there is something that doesn't work.

People will never say "the drivers are crap", or "there is no support from the vendor", but always "OpenPLi doesn't work". We will never make an image if there is no direct support from the vendors developers to fix issues...

Good

Throw this away and buy something that already has OpenPLi support - there are many also quite cheap boxes. Problem solved. Do not ever expect good support for cheap android boxes from China.

Your best chance is to use our meta: https://github.com/O.../meta-linkdroid

But you need to develop it for your box yourself because we don't do what you need too.
