You have to be clear, as this is about power-on of the box (after a power cut, which is equal to flipping the switch of plugging in the power cable). ;)

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

caligula73

When put reciever in standby, TV also power off?

yes

No need to apologize. ;)
On my main TV HDMI-CEC works great on my LG OLED. TV power’s up when starting the box and shuts down when putting the box to standby.

Yes, my turn on and then does not go to standby, the box goes to standby

possible solutions to my problem.
delete lines 2–3 and 4. or increase the time between turning on the TV and switching it to standby. judging by the log of my TV does not have time for 3 seconds to understand what you need to go to standby

I'm going to add a new option to HDMI-CEC plugin.

"Do not turn on the TV" (yes/no), after a power loss, when "Wakeup TV from standby"/"Regard deep standby as standby" as enabled.

"Do not turn on the TV" (yes/no), after a power loss, when "Wakeup TV from standby"/"Regard deep standby as standby" as enabled.

After a detailed study, it turned out that this is not possible.
No trigger for this except VU + receivers.

VU + work RTC time if box in deep standby. When power loss, then this time is reset(1970).

maybe just increase the time between 3 and 4 lines, from 3 seconds to 6 ?

The kld-28 button came. installed on the box. now hdmi-cec works correctly when power failure(TV does not turn on).

... but this is not a good solution for openpli  :(

I also own a Panasonic TV and it needs a delay between the turn on and turn off signal otherwise the TV ignore the turn off signal.

If you take your receiver RCU then turn it on and then turn off, you will see that the Panasonic TV won't turn off.
And I think that it is what happens with a power outage, the TV turn on but ignore the turn off signal because it is still starting.

If you want to fix this, you need to add a minimal delay between turn on / turn off signal to TV (or just turn off to TV), so when HDMI-CEC needs to send a turn off signal it will wait for this delay before sending.
So this can leave time for TV to turn on and then accept the turn off signal.

I can confirm I have that with my Panasonic too, but only with some boxes. For example, the Duo 4K needs the delay, the HD2400 and the SAB AlphaTriple don;t.

Probably because they are slower boxes, faster boxes send too fast the command so delay is needed.

... also noticed that when you turn on the TV sometimes does not switch to the desired video input, most likely this is also due to the speed of HDMI-CEC
