With permanenttimeshift you save the current TS stream witch is recorded for timeshift.

A MKV is already saved, so permanettimeshift is useless in this case.

I imagined this answer but I would like to pause a mkv anyway using timershift without installing other external plugins .... if it is possible

aaaah looks like it is for some kind of stream.... Maybe better to find a way to play it via movieplayer or download it first...

I suggest better download it and then play it (while it is downloaded) from the hdd... you cannot timeshift this...

Why/how/what? The HTTP example you show does not exist as it was just an example. I’m afraid yours is secret and as far I observe the url this is a simple mkv file that should be able to download... what you actually want is a kind of switch to movieplayer when you select a movie or recording from the channellist... this als for a bigger revision on e2 code

What I would like is to be able to pause while running a stream in a url mkv list created in a userbouquet.tv channel list (iptv)

I think athoik implemented that already in the past. Afaik you can press pause and the stream should pause (if the stream supports it). You can then also use skipping.

Which box do you use and which image (version)?
