What would the chances be, of a really smart person writing a plug-in for jail broken Iphones ?
Or figuring out how to install VLC in an Iphone ?
Anyway: just a shot in the dark.

I really don't know, but you'll probably receive a much better answer at any iphone related forum.

The iphone wouldn't be able to do anything with the raw transport stream even if there was a perfect vlc port, nor if you wrote something from scratch for this specific purpose (way, way beyond what it can handle both in terms of wifi bw and cpu).
So, since you would have to transcode to something considerably lighter anyway, why not just pick a stream format that it can already play out of the box?

Thanks for answering, I thought since I can easily stream satellite radio( http://www.millardso...dition-beta-v62 ) on my iPhone ………. I don't know if video is much harder.

The control panel loads easily but of course I cannot watch anything.
