Hi,

 

VuSolo 4k used in IPTV ServiceApp set Extplayer3 or Enigma2 Connected trought HDMI ARC

AAC direct output does not work

Downmixed is OK

 

Is that normal or there is a hided bug in my knowledge

is your TV/AVR able to decode AAC? Mine are not. DRM protected?

TV samsung QE65Q900 SoundBar SZamsung HW-Q90R

 

Both work with AC3 and the Q90 decode the AC3+ stream...

Hi,

if you can try to record something, put it on a flash drive and test it direct at the TV. AC3 and also AC3+ is more or less standard AAC still not.

Euronews Audio PID 0101(257) - AAC - fre

 

Put a record on a USB stick => TV set => OK with the Soudbar (ARC) => OK

 

Playing directly with windows media player complain for a Mpeg 2 Codec and after install => OK

VLC player use ADTS codec => OK

 

The VuSolo4k is directly connected to the TV set => NO_OK with or without Soundbar

 

That's look the Vu block the raw AAC (mpeg 2 ?) stream

 

DRM for Euronews ?
