hello,

odd audio problem on some channels
these channels are video radio channels (service type 130)
normal play channel No Sound but;

Hint 1 (surprise coincidence)
I press pause key (timeshift), then I press pause key again and the sound comes out (playing on timeshift)

Hint 2 (my own experiment)
channels open with exteplayer3 (5002) and sound is coming

in the attached log file, all actions (normal play + play with timeshift + play with 5002 exteplayer3) are available !

note: This problem exists for many years!

model: vu+ duo2

thanks!

been there, done that ;-)

most probably non-compliant dvb stream (pcr / time stamps?), AFAIK little we can do about it...

could you specify these channele? what sat position? fta? - so possibly one can test with another STB?

// IIRC, vu had always biggest problem with this, other brands seem to have some workarounds implemented in driver to handle this issue somehow (?)

True sarcasm doesn't need green font...

thank you for your reply,
this channel is encrypted channel.
users here said they don't work on vu +, dreambox, xtrend ...

a user said,  works by manually typing the pid values (VPID, APID) in the OctagonSF4008.

check out this video

Since it is encrypted channel, I'm adding a recording video for this services..

thanks...

We had similar reports also in the past for different channels. Timeshift or recording is a workaround. As far as I remember Problem was only on Broadcom boxes. So maybe using hisilicon boxes is also a “workaround”.

We cannot really fix that. The processing takes place in the chip. There is not much we can change in this processing.
