If you see a green screen, there is an error log on the box (usually in /media/hdd), can you post that?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Define "nothing functions"?

Is the driver not loaded? Is the stick not recognized? Is the WLAN interface not created? Does the interface not find any AP's? Does it not connect?

For Zero 4K the WLAN interface created but when I selected to search network the receiver remains blocked and I need after that to restart by the power supply

For solo2 the WLAN interface not created

The code for both are identical. Nothing much more I can do I'm afraid.

Not from me. I don't own any of your boxes, I don't own a stick like you have, and my C++ skills are just enough to get stuff compiled.

As (I think) Erik mentioned earlier, it is better to check the kernel version of your device, then check the kernel driver database to check if the kernel has a driver for the chipset in the device you want to buy. Linux is not a PC, it is not plug-and-play.

Obviously, that only works if you buy from a reliable vendor, and clearly not for the two-bit chinese crap from ali-baba (which don't even manage to get the chipset right).

At least take care to buy a stick with a chipset supported by the Linux kernel and it will mostly work. Yes, they are a few bucks more expensive and there's a reason for that.
