Hi,

 

I open this topic about the way of using the adult channels, i am a old fashion user that used to select the channels in the list and immediatly receive the PIN code to enter, now in this last images 7.1 i cant do that, if i select one adult channel with parental code in the list i never receive the PIN code box, i need to go out of MENU chanel list and put the number of chanel manually, that is pretty annoying and i tried to figured out a way of change that, but i dont find any option to change that, can someone tell me if there is one option to use it like old fashion or now its impossible to do that?

Hi,

 

You simply create a favorite with all your porn channels and then protect this favorite with a PIN Code then automatically all the channels in this list will be PIN Code protected. So once you decide to select this favorite the PIN Code will prompt and you need to enter it to gain access inside this favorite. If you know the direct number to access this channel you will be prompted for the PIN Code and the channel will be "opened".

I think that there is also now an option somewhere to hide some bouquets/favorites (but I never use it).

You can also decide to add PIN Code protection individually per channels but this is less user friendly I think.

 

But as littlesat says there is nothing changed in the PIN Code behavior.

Yes it changed, i have a favourite list with channels of my country and in the 4.0 images when i open the favourite list and select one adult chanel marked as adult chanel in dreamset and with parental code activated i got immediatly the ENTER PIN BOX, now i do OK in the channel and it dont do nothing, dont ask PIN and dont open the channel, in a normal channel it opens the channel.

I can only go to adult channels by entering the number of channel in the remote controler, this is annoying and not user friendly.

Aaah you’re using a settings editor... and it looks like you have hide parental channels on channel selection on... then indeed you need to press menu in channel selection and show parental controlled channel option (1) to see them as they are hidden... maybe you have also to select remember it once pin enter for an hour or so... please note the hidden feature was there forever and likely (by accident) you did activate it?

The last time I installed 7.2, Parental Control doesn't work.Add parental control option does not appear in menu list

No, dont have nothing to do with editors, i can do that with remote control and the problem its the same, the channels are not hidden, i can see the channels in list, but i cant open them, only if the parental code its inactive.

I never watch this problem before in any image, you have some ideas about what could be causing the problem?

There is no problem with the parental control. Which skin are you using?
If it's not the OpenPli default one please test with our skin.

I did not know it was possible to PIN-protect the whole bouquet.

How do I do that from the menu?

Set the 'pointer' to the bouquet... menu and then the 2nd option.

Did you enable the parental control feature first? Did you enter a pincode? Without the feature does not appear.

When I get back home I will try to find the parental control feature and enable it.

By the way, is it possible to read the PIN from a file using FTP in case I forget it or not?
