No. The VU+ Zero Rev.2 is a VU+ Zero with a newer model tuner.

It has the same SoC as the DM520/525.. It can process H.265 video. But it’s NOT 4K capable…

Hello

I have tried to install newest OpenPli - openpli-9.0-release-vuzero-20240102_usb.zip

on my new bought VU+Zero rev2

It seems to flash correctly, led blinks smothly during flashing, than finally it blinks fast, so I turn of and then turn on VU+. After that vu+ hangs on original invitation screen and do not boot more.

After that I have tried to install OpenPli 8 version. Effect is the same. It hangs on boot.

Finally I have installed 7.3 version and it boots correctly. Whats wrong witn 8 and 9 version of OpenPLI? How to flash it to VU+Zero rev2 ?

Turn off the power a couple of times and wait for it to load.

I have flashed bix in a different way.
First 7.3 using flash from USB in standard way. I have put USB, then power on and flashing starts. After that my box has booted properly. I make quick configuration, than from menu I have choosed: Settings->Install image. From downloade list I have choosen OpenPLI 8.3. Then I vae put usb with zipped image doenloaded from openpli downloads, then ok abd flashing process has started from gui. After flashing power iff, then on and image 8.3 has booted properly. Then I have repeated it to 9.0 version and after all it has booted from 9.0 properly.

I wonder why flashing direclty from usb using standard method will cause to boot failure but flashing from gui box boots properly in 8.3 or 9.0 version.
