@betacentauri: do you have any plan to merge devolop changes into thud branch?

No. Thud will be merged into develop, and will become the new develop  (for OpenPLi 8), when

  • 7.2-release is released
  • all thud build issues have been addressed

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

I can also rebase thud in the meantime. But I don’t know exactly when I have time for it.

Probably i don't understand correctly... For example: in develop branch we have 'init script for pcsc', it will be also in thud?

When I rebase the thud branch, then this commit will be present.

OR the other way would be what WanWizard said. We merge the thud changes into develop (but we cannot do it at the moment).

I have updated thud branch. All develop commits are now included in thud (@Wanwizard: No worries. I haven't made a merge)

I guess you have to clone the repository again a normal git pull won't work.

It's untested until now. Build is running...

It’s not my language ;)
Execute “make update” again. Are then errors shown? If yes, start from scratch. Means clone git again. Or try to fix by yourself.

By the way: Building feed currently throws an error. I hope I have time tomorrow to fix it.

What I think it says is:

I did a rebase. Means I used latest develop branch and added again all thud patches to it. Then I stored this as new thud.

So the actual(new) thud branch has other structure as old thud branch. You cannot update it with normal “git pull”. I’m no Git expert and currently don’t know what you have to do to fix it. That’s why I wrote: “use Git clone” which will 100% work. I guess you can find other solutions when you search in the net.

or maybe a "hard reset on origin/thud" will do as well. First make a git fetch followed by git reset origin/thud --hard.

Complete build with feeds for at least one box was successful. Build for the other boxes is still running.

So I think dax you can start.
