Also don't forget the corresponding update to SystemInfo.py, to avoid a crash. ;)

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

So tested with OpemPli 7.2 RC and the updated Harddisk.py/SystemInfo.py

1.Menu/Information doesn't show the SD card

2. Menu/Setup/System/Harddisk doesn't see it

3. MountManager can see it

Perhaps a bit of debug code would help or do you want me to try something else??

I've tested with my H9Twin, I will try again later today.

p.s. currently only looking at Harddisk/Initialize, as that was the question, the rest is cosmetics. And plugins should be dealt with by the author, no idea who made that MountManager.

Was indeed not 100%. Fixed it.

I've installed the mount manager. That shows mounted partitions, which is different from devices.

You might have an issue where the boot device is not on the Emmc?

The only possible issue that can exist is if have a box that has an internal eMMC boot device, but you boot it from another device or an NFS mount through a serial connection and custom cmdline arguments.

We've discussed this, and have decided that if you are smart enough to do that, you are also smart enough not to format your internal eMMC by mistake. ;)

We don't support the SF8008, so that is a non issue for the moment. ;)

I don't know if it can be useful to the problem, but today installing the new openpli-7.2-rc-h9combo-20191122_emmc on h9combo I wanted to do a test, that is to insert the microsd on the decoder, and the USB for the flash, has started everything, has finished the installation of the image, before restarting the decoder for the ritual settings, language, overscan, satellites etc. etc. I removed the USB from the decoder and in the end, in the menu, system settings, advanced settings, I found the Hard Disk item. and inside the mmc that he didn't see working.

After the installation, once you have seen the microsd, this remains, in fact if I install picon-like plugins, the deco asks me where I want to install internal memory or mmc

I believe that the deco after the installation of the image, if I don't remove the attached USB key, this goes into conflict with the microsd.
