I have UE55KS7000U now with OpenPli the image of movie is more great respet my old image of ItalySat where its possible select resolution 2160p30.

I search in option to select 2160 but black screen appear..so i must select 1080 but with the image more great

Some solution ?

Hi,

did you try auto resolution? Most images only allow 2160p50/60 but sometimes auto resolution selects 2160p30 for 4K content. Other possibility is to switch to 2160p30 with a macro/script.

Okay thank for clarification but if i dont solve you have some istructionss for macro/script. to switch to 2160p30 ?

So if is correct this;

 

# toggle_mode.sh by mrvica

MODE=`cat /proc/stb/video/videomode`

echo active mode $MODE

echo 2160p30 > /proc/stb/video/videomode

cat /proc/stb/video/videomode

sleep 1

echo $MODE> /proc/stb/video/videomode

cat /proc/stb/video/videomode

 

and if i go in problem in which way i can back ?

to see all modes i.e. on my box

root@mbmini:~# cat /proc/stb/video/videomode_choices
pal ntsc 480i 576i 480p 576p 720p50 720p 1080i50 1080i 720p24 720p25 720p30 1080p50 1080p

do you have 2160p30 at all? just set that mode, that is all

echo 2160p30 > /proc/stb/video/videomode

Not every box can do p30, as it's not something that is used (a lot) in Europe. I don't have a HD51, so I can't check.

I use time ago italysat image and 2160p30 run well..after change to openpli no... some solution so ?

Witch box mode use(1 or 12)?

Mmmm in mode 12 you have pip but video stuff is limited... (no p30 or p60!) in mode 1 you do not have pip, but you have full video features
