Hi there,

I am using very much Media Player from plugin's, and there is an annoying thing what happens when I pause the Play and if waiting on pause the screensaver (OpenPLi Logo) starts moving on last image from the played media as background. This is very good but if i want to continue playing the media and press pause button then the media starts playing but the image stays still (only audio playing) and the image goes back to media player screen with 2 sidepanels playlist and files list. And the annoying is that I have to push the pause button twice to continue playing audio and video together.

Which box which media (downloaded or recorded) it could be an driver issue.

Same Problem here, but a long Time. Was on 6.2 and 7.0

Box Et9200 , Solo2

@littlesat since long time got this with mut@nt hd51 now with Vu+ uno se and before also with Vu+ solo2.

And doesn't matter if recorded media or just a h264 or h265 media from other source, the issue is same.

Did you also try with normal movieplayer... You do not need mediaplayer to play stuff...

 

Here the play continues when you unpause.... (with play button or OK).

I used always the stock Media Player from Plugins witch is preinstalled with every OpenPLi image and never installed other players.

And i want to stay with stock player if there any possibillity to fix this issue.

 

BTW: i don't know what you mean with normal movieplayer

You do not need to install any extra plugin. Try playing with PVR, Video or List button.

@littlesat as i know the PVR and or Video or List button is restricted to play only the Recorder Video's.

As i am familiar with Media Player from Plugins witch is delivered by default (preinstalled) by every OpenPLi image and this Player can search via network and all USB,HDD media on your device i will stay to use it. And i don't want to use other alternative for this.

Better wait till someone can helt to fix this issue.

It will also play mkv avi etc...

And when you press the list button again you can also access mounts etc...

I will try it after work.

But i don't understand if there is an issue and other person also confirmed that this exists ... why people come here with alternative and why not with the fix ?

And we talk about a stock plugin not an 3rd party

We talk about ->Menu ->Mediaplayer

For me not this big Problem but i could confirm that is exist.

And its only screensaver is on, normal use everthing is fine. To long waiting, Screensaver on, you must push pause 3 times to watch your record

I asked again... how is the performance in the movieplayer.... might be mediaplayer need a debug and normal player not. When both have the issue I need to look further.

Oh ok, now i'm understand. the player over pvr is not the same like mediaplayer i thought so, because exit message is the same...

with pvr there is no problem with pause and play

You tel you only hear sound without video... This is still obvious...  I can not correlate this to Enigma2 code...

yes, but no video means you see the select menu from mediaplayer

I remember this is normal behavior when you press 2x pause... You need to press play or OK to continue playing...

nope pause only once, screensaver, and then its egal pause play or ok. you see the mediaplayer screen, hear the ton

There is no mistake here.

This is a feature of the plugin MediaPlayer.

After pause, press play or pause again -->show playlist and press OK --> hide playlist.

or

After pause, press OK  and press play or pause again.

@Dimitrij you didn't understand the point ... 

The issue is if i let on still (pause) till the screensaver come up and pres pause or play first starts to play the sound but no video and stay on 2 side panel vide and i have to press again play or pause to show the video too.

Try to click OK, what will happen?
