I am wondering though what a plugin has to do with a tuner? LCD4Linux is a plugin showing extra info on build in LCD's. Tuners are controlled by the channel list/bouquet.... Can anyone explain?

And this plugin is trying to display information about to tuner activity and this is buggy.

It might be some timing issue. Afaik the commands to the LNB/multiswitch have to be properly timed. So it could be that the lcd4linux plugin is active after sending first command and does some time expensive processing. Then second command is maybe send out to late.

And yes, in normal cases plugins run in the same thread as all other e2 core python code.
