First, sorry if my english is not perfect (I'm french).
I have a mistery problem (for me) with my dm500.
When i made a "automatical transponder scan" there are some channels that are missing (about 700 services detected). I tried with a lot of images (gemini, nabilo, sif, darkside 2 and pli of course) and with the same results. I noticed that the missing channels are those who correspond with low and high frequencies. The tuner on the box is a alps.
But the big mistery is that when i flash my box with PLI GARNET then i scan and i have the channels missing!!!!! I don't have all the services on astra (about 700) but it's better, there are less mistakes.
Another precision, i am a subscriber of the french provider C+ and CSAT and with the original receiver (with the same LNB etc) i have all the channels.

Welcome at pli-images. 
Assuming that your installation is ok, the only reason for not finding channels is probably missing transponders in your satellites.xml file. Did you do a factory reset after you flashed your images? If so, the xml file in the image is used. If not, the xml in your /var partition is used, and it is not erased when you flash, so all images you tried probably used the same xml file.
Flash Jade, then download the Henksat settings from the software management menu. These are up to date (they are scanned very recently) and also contain the most up to date satelitte.xml file, generated from the lyngsat website.

Just download our latest image, download the latest controlpanel and after this you can download the settings under blue button, software management, downloads, channel settings, Henksat settings.

Mijn schotel is een T90 met 10 LNB's. Daarnaast voor de fun nog een draaibaar systeem met een Triax TD 78.
Dreamboxen heb ik niet meer echt actief. Verder heb ik ook nog een een VU+ duo2 met 500Gb harddisk + een VU+ Uno, Zero, Solo 4K, Ultimo 4K, Zero 4K, Uno 4Kse. + ook nog een Xtrend ET7x00. Daarnaast heb ik ook nog diverse andere modellen w.o. een Formuler F4, ET8500, ET7500, Mut@nt 2400HD, Xsarius Fusion HD se en verder nog wel het e.e.a. waarmee op verzoek vanalles wordt getest. Iemand moet het tenslotte doen. 
Los van de eerder genoemde modellen heb ik nog wel een rits aan testsamples als Mut@nt 2400HD, HD60, GB UE4K, GB Trio4K, Maxitec Multibox combo en Twin, Octagon sf8008, sf8008 mini en last but nog least enkele modellen van het Grieks Duitse Edision.
Voor centrale opslag van media gebruik ik een Qnap 219P met tweemaal 2 Tb harddisks + een Synology DS414 met 12 Tb Totale opslag.

I looked on the signals of the transponder that corresponding with the channels i don't have (for example 12207MHz V 27500ksyms 3/4) and i have a moving signal for BER. So, may be it's just a reception problem (i have a single LNB 60cm).
But for the transponders with the channels i have, it's ok (90% 90% BER=0%). Is it possible to be good for some transponders and not with others?

Yes it is possible to have different receiving values. The several transponders transmit with different strength.
I would suggest to adjust your 60cm dish or look for a bigger one with higher receiving values.
Besides this, a dreambox hasn't the best sensitivity rate.
Therefore the combination "asks" for a larger dish. :wink:

Have you already tried the Jade image?
This image has the last satellites.xml. An older version could cause your problem. Try this before buying another dish.

Yes I tried but no effect.
As I told, it's only with PLI GARNET that i can detect the missing channels (why?), but i can't see them, the signal is too low (BER moving).
With others PLI images or GEMINI, NABILO, SIF..... I can't detect all the channels (there are more errors).

Apologies if it seems I am hijacking this thread but I have a similar problem. I have a DM500S with the Iolite image and this had been working superbly without any problems with all the channels and than I flashed it with the Jade image. I found that I couldn't recieve anything fom Digitv and I could not receive anything from Thor 1W such as BBC World. I than flashed it with the Nabilo image and it all worked fine so I wnet back to Jade and had the same problem. I have to say that I downloaded the latest panel and Captains settings from the Pli server onto my images. I have now got myself a DM600S and am I am having the same problem, everything works except Thor 1W etc. If I flash it with the Nabilo image everything works except for stuff on 28.2E but Jade works fine on 28.2E but not on Thor 1W. I also notice that I am unable to scan for Thor 1W on either image as it does not show up in the list even though I have copied the latest satellite.xml. There is no problems with my signal as that is at about 97%. Any ideas?

maybe the problem is your settingslist
the satellite setup AND channellist must correspond towards eacht other:
Thor Satellite setup: 0,8W
Thor Channellist: 0,8W (and NOT on 1,0W as some channellists have!)

I have just been reading post by fellow member romcard and it looks like he had similar problem. He resolved his problem by editing the transponder details in dreamboxedit for each of the channels. Is there a simpler method for changing the details so that the satellite setup and channels list are same?
