Hi I wonder if it is possible to sort the channel listing by SID upon searching or adding new channels

no, dreambox sorts them alphabetically, so renaming the channels with channel master and putting the SID infront of the name will reorganize them. there are scripts todo this.

How can it be possible to do it? What possible way to renumber the channels according to SID in decimal? Anyone to advise?

I have similar problem i want to renumber my channels. i tried putting the numbers in the name but i need to jump from 30 - 50 and cant find a way to do this.

Any help would be great

This will work;

1. download and install dreamboxedit 3 on your PC ( http://dreamboxedit.....net/index.html )
2. download your settings from your DM box with dreamboxedit
3. create a bouquet (any name i.e. Sky)
4. put the channels in the order you require in that bouquet
5. upload the settings back to your DM box
6. click on the reload button
7. on the DM box select the bouquet you just made in the order you wanted
8. watch TV
