Does EPG take up a lot of storage? Is it possible to store it in flash (on a Ultimo4K)? I had it on internal HDD, but after changing to ext HDD I want to know if I can store it in flash.

Depends on what you load.

No, EPG is stored in memory. It is temporarily stored (in epg.dat) when Enigma restarts, but other than for that purpose, the file is not used.

Mine is about 25Mb, and any modern box has space enough for it. I store it on USB, because I switch boxes a lot.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

The hhd version is just a copy of the live epg stored in memory.

It's only accessed at boot time and when shutting down, (and more times if you chose to take a copy more often)
