Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Hi, very stable this version, all the problems detected in version 7.2 solved (youtube 4k), just one question, I installed oscam and whenever I restart the box it is not active, do I have to activate it manually, any configuration? thank you very much and congratulations

First impressions of 7.3
With the isetting plugin the dtt scan does not work, to solve I have scanned with automatic search, after with the settings I have only arranged them in lcn order
The iSetting 3.4.5 plugin does not allow dtt scanning does not work, does not recognize the tuner on both the Octagone SF8008 and the Zgemma StarH2. This also happened with 7.2 while up to version 7.1 it seems to me it worked. It only allows you to scan and update LCN but this is useless without scanning the DDT channels. I don't know if the problem arose in the plugin or if in the E2 image. I hope the developers can solve this incompatibility because iSetting is a very useful and simple plugin to use for all owners of decoders. I personally to solve I kept a previous DDT scan with order of LCN channels (as if I siontonizzate from TV tuner) and I insert it in the channel list with editor.

Check with the authors of that plugin. We don't know it, don't maintain it, and don't even provide it.

hello, it's very fast ..."turbo" but I have noticed the stunning speed of OpenPLI on SF8008 some months ago
if you are interested (here at least) I've some problems with XFS formatted (only for speed reasons) external devices.
OpenPLI does not detect my small external SSD disk XFS formatted.
But appear with "modprobe xfs" via telnet terminal
Starting from this moment I can browse and use all the contained files..but when I want "install local ipk" using "software manager" there is no way for choose the external hdd
(I always see 3 small and blank partitions -maybe - placed in the emmc + Pen Drives fat32 formatted
I can see this partitions listed under "install local ipk" also if I manual umnount them one by one. But not the external and mounted xfs hdd..
yet I see the disk smoothly with any filebrowser
So ?

Not sure software manager still works, it's old and unmaintained.
If you plug in a removable device, the automounter will check if there are ipks in the root, and prompt you for installation.
To address the xfs issue, create "/etc/modules-load.d/xfs.conf", and add a single line with "xfs" to it. Now on reboot it should autoload the xfs kernel module.

No Octagon test software for Octagon sf 8008 single and dual models? Let's see the software of the model opened in the Downloads page.

Installed more than one softcam? Check menu / setup / Softcam/CI

The current image is for the SF8008, the SF8008 Twin and the SF8008 Combo.
It is not for the SF8008 mini, that image is still being worked on, I hope Octagon is quick enough with the BSP changes to have it ready for 7.3-release as well.

This is not the latest RC. Netflix isn’t nor won’t be possible to work properly so I’m told.
Mijn schotel is een T90 met 10 LNB's. Daarnaast voor de fun nog een draaibaar systeem met een Triax TD 78.
Dreamboxen heb ik niet meer echt actief. Verder heb ik ook nog een een VU+ duo2 met 500Gb harddisk + een VU+ Uno, Zero, Solo 4K, Ultimo 4K, Zero 4K, Uno 4Kse. + ook nog een Xtrend ET7x00. Daarnaast heb ik ook nog diverse andere modellen w.o. een Formuler F4, ET8500, ET7500, Mut@nt 2400HD, Xsarius Fusion HD se en verder nog wel het e.e.a. waarmee op verzoek vanalles wordt getest. Iemand moet het tenslotte doen. 
Los van de eerder genoemde modellen heb ik nog wel een rits aan testsamples als Mut@nt 2400HD, HD60, GB UE4K, GB Trio4K, Maxitec Multibox combo en Twin, Octagon sf8008, sf8008 mini en last but nog least enkele modellen van het Grieks Duitse Edision.
Voor centrale opslag van media gebruik ik een Qnap 219P met tweemaal 2 Tb harddisks + een Synology DS414 met 12 Tb Totale opslag.

And Kodi is indeed not build for the sf8008, also not in develop. So that needs to be looked at.
