Hi,

 

as promissed I'm replying to my post about freezing Octagon SF8008 Twin. Long story short:
 

1. Finally I have made a complaint and got cash back.
2. I purchased again same model from different reseller (looks like at least remote controll is in new version).
3. I flashed latest OpenPli and configured all stuff.
4. It works.

It was indeed some hardware issue of that other box.

Well, read the error message: "No such file or directory: /etc/code".

The plugin needs the file and I think you need to create it by yourself....

 

As it's most likely illegal IPTV, I don't give you more hints and we don't maintain that plugin.

The same what? The above has to do with a streaming plugin, which has no relation to watching a DVB channel...

Remove that IPTV plugin, and don't reinstall it until the author has fixed the problem.

If you don’t have that plugin (anymore) you’d best reinstall your box without restoring any previous backup.

i never had that plugin, i don't use backup and the image is the stable 8.1 from january

The only thing I know is that remains of plugins don’t come inside an image by itself. That is why I advised to flash again. It wouldn’t be the first time that someone in peoples household has played with a certain plugin and removed it after having played with it. We have never done anything with Suptv so it can’t be in the image by default.

Is it actually that hard for you to believe what we state?

 

If a plugin, in this case SupTV, has never been installed then it is impossible that a box crashes on leftovers of that specific plugin. If you have tested that plugin once, and uninstalled it, then so leftovers might cause a crash.

For the last time. Flash this box fresh and you’ll never ever experience a crash caused by leftovers from SubTV. I wonder whether this plugin is in our feed. I doubt it.
