The most important part you have not filled in.  Which is:  the grabbing of the schedules.

Since I do not read Arabic, this is extremely difficult for me.

 

So I will not do this. 

 

However, if you or some-one else can grab the the schedules, update them everyday, and I can add them to the sources.  Much like what is done for the Russian schedules.

The electronic guide I extract it from the webgrab+ in English which is very excellent, but I want to edit the ini files (osn.com.ini & bein.net.ini) so that the directory appears in Arabic, knowing that the package sites support the Arabic and English directory.

PS: I do not have any idea if the presented data are correct.  Google translate might help, or comparing character by character.  But all this is very time consuming.

Thank you Willy for the help , the files are working like a charm ....Our friend Mosad will try to upload the guide and provide  the link with the daily updated schedules so you can add it to the sources in the plugin . He's also willing to donate to the site soon .

Not sure if it needs an update or its just the way it is lol.

how would 1 move season (S03) from title to onscreen like S03 E4.
website seems to have all season's in title.

Found one channel which gives the season info:  National Geographic

On the basis of that channel I modified the Ini.  It should have no effect on the other channels, which does not seem to give the season info at all.

I will not do it.  Several reasons:

 

1. I only do European channels, broadcasted on satellites which can be received in Europe.

At the moment I have over 4000 channels.  And maintanining these takes up all the free time I have.

 

2. You request these channels with no reference to any service references.  So clearly this request is for use on IPTV.
Since I produce schedules for use on enigma2 receivers, they are tailored to the limitations of these receivers.

IPTV receivers can use much more tags in the XMLTV files. These are not in the Rytec files.

The Rytec files can used on IPTV receivers, but will leave most tags in the EPG of these receivers empty.

So IPTV receivers will need a different formatted file.

 

3. Most IPTV is illegal.

There are legal IPTV streams, which I cater for in the European space.

But these schedule will also be tailored for use on enigma2 receivers.
