Big stability problems, the decoder crashes many times without apparent reasons.
At each command, it starts HD and then executes the command.
Example:
1) decoder in stand by, I turn on the decoder from the remote control, first it starts the HD and then it becomes available.
2) I am viewing on a channel and HD is in stand by, changing the channel first starts HD and then changes channels.
Anyone my own problems?

DM8000 original decoder

No,
EPGs are stored on the USB Pen and the Picons on the Compact Flash.

I have enable the swap and is stored on USB Pen.

No the EPG is not stored on USB the EPG is always in the memory RAM.
The file EPG.dat is just a dump of the memory when you standby your box.
The DM8000 is a end of life product that has too few memory to run properly.
